Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. In a second bowl, combine the brown sugar and the remaining 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon.
Sprinkle 1 Tbsp of the granulated sugar mixture onto a clean work surface and place 1 sheet of puff pastry on top. Sprinkle with another Tbsp of the granulated sugar mixture. Using a rolling pin, roll over the pastry once to help the sugar stick. Cut the pastry into 5 equal strips. Repeat with the remaining sheet of dough (you'll have a little bit of the granulated sugar mixture left over).
Working with 1 strip of dough at a time, dip a marshmallow in the butter, then coat in the brown sugar mixture. Place on one end of the pastry strip and roll up. Pinch the pastry together on one end to create a seam, covering the marshmallow. Repeat with the remaining strips.
Place the rolls, seam-side down, in the holes of a nonstick muffin pan and bake until golden brown and puffed, 30 to 35 minutes. Immediately remove the sugar buns from the pan and transfer to a serving dish or wire rack (for easiest cleanup, remove any melted marshmallow on the pan while it's still warm).

A split-set bathroom faucet is relatively easy to install, especially if you're starting from scratch with a new cabinet and countertop.
The difficulty of installing a bathroom faucet depends partly on the type of faucet, but mostly on your access to the underside of the sink and the plumbing setup.
Installing a faucet is easiest during new construction, when you're installing the cabinetry, sink, and countertop, because you can usually do most of the assembly before installing the sink.
In situations where you'll be installing a faucet on an existing sink, access is trickier because it can be awkward working underneath the sink, inside the cabinet.
One tool that sometimes makes the job easier is a basin wrench—it allows you to reach up and tighten fittings behind the sink bowl.

To make the assembly steps more understandable, in this article we show how to assemble the faucet on a new sink, working above the countertop.
When buying a faucet, be sure to get one that will fit the configuration of holes in your sink or countertop (or buy a sink that will fit the faucet you want). The number and configuration of holes for a single-piece faucet are different than those required for a split-set faucet like the one shown here.
If you're replacing an old faucet, you'll need to begin by removing it. Turn off the shut-off valves that serve the faucet's supply tubes. Use a wrench to remove the supply tubes' nuts from the faucet tailpieces. Place a bucket below the supply tubes—they'll be filled with water, which you'll need to drain into the bucket.
Use a basin wrench to remove the locknuts and the washers on both tailpieces.
If the sink has a pop-up assembly, disconnect it from the faucet and disassemble it to get it out of the way.
Then just lift out the faucet.
If the water supply tubes are old and corroded, this is a good time to replace them.
How to Install a Bathroom Faucet: Step-by-Step
Unpack your new faucet and make sure you have all of the necessary parts. If any pre-assembly is required, do that now, according to the manufacturer's directions. To make assembly of the new faucet easier, work with the countertop upside down on top of the vanity, as shown. If the countertop is considerably larger than our example, prop it upside down on the floor.
1Clean the top surface of the countertop where the new faucet will sit. Fit the rubber gaskets (if the faucet and valves have them) onto the faucet's components, and then push the faucet's tailpiece up through its mounting hole in the sink or counter. Thread the washer and mounting nut onto the tailpiece. Then drop the valve assemblies into their holes and tighten them in place.
Assemble the faucet body and valve components—ideally, working with the countertop turned upside-down.
Note the rubber gaskets in the photo: These are meant to create a watertight seal between the faucet body and valves and the counter or sink so that water spilled or sprayed on the counter doesn't leak down into the cabinet. If your faucet doesn't have these rubber gaskets, seal the perimeter of the base with plumber's putty before you insert the parts through the sink or countertop holes.
2Connect the valves to the spout if you're installing a split-set faucet like this one. Wrap the threaded ends of the valves and connecting piece with a couple of turns of pipe-wrap tape, and then screw the parts together. Snug them until tight by hand, and then finish tightening them with an adjustable wrench.
Connect the faucet valves to the faucet body, using flexible tubing.
3Install the drain pop-up. Assuming that your faucet includes a drain pop-up that allows you to lift the drain stopper with a sink-top lever (most do), the next step is to assemble this.
Because the pop-up mechanism is integral to the sink drain tailpiece, this involves, removing the existing drain tailpiece and then installing the new tailpiece as shown.
The spring clip is positioned at the end of the pivot rod—this grips onto the lift rod. For more about pop-ups, please see How to Fix a Pop-Up Drain Stopper.
4Push the lift rod into the hole in the spout, and then attach it to the pivot rod, using the extension rod and spring clip. If necessary, adjust it so the drain stopper will open and close properly.
Install the drain and pop-up assembly, and connect the pop-up to the lift rod.
5Connect the flexible water-supply tubes to the tailpieces. Screw them on, turning the knurled nuts clockwise. Tighten the nuts with a wrench.
6Place the assembled countertop and faucet right-side up on the vanity or cabinet.
Then connect the faucet's hot and cold water supply tubes to the shutoff valves at the wall, gently bending the flexible supply tubes as required. Turn the compression nuts or flared fittings clockwise until finger-tight, and then snug them tighter with a wrench.
Turn on the water at the shut-off valves by turning the valve handle counterclockwise. Then turn on the faucet to flush the faucet and line of any debris.

Tiles are the perfect material for your bathroom walls and floors, offering a hygienic, affordable, hard-wearing and great-looking finish.
But if you want them to stay looking their best, they require looking after, particularly in the high-traffic and high-moisture environment of a bathroom.
Failing to do so, will result in tiles which become built up in dirt, limescale and eventually crack.
How do you keep the grout in tiles clean?
Grout is one of the most tell-tale signs of ageing tiles – so keeping the grout clean is essential. Grout is prone to becoming discoloured, cracked and dirty, which can spoil the overall look of your bathroom tiles.
If you're looking for a fail-proof way to clean the grout in your bathroom tiles, follow this method:
The first thing you need to do, is remove any dirt and grime with a scraper or a sponge and a good limescale-remover spray. You'll be left with the mould that has become built into the tiles.
The next step is to scrub the area with bleach and a hard-bristled toothbrush. Pour 2 parts bleach and 1-part water into a small container, dip the toothbrush and scrub each section of the grout thoroughly. Leave it to soak in for 30 minutes.
Now, scrub the grout for a second time, and rinse thoroughly with water.
How to replace grout in bathroom tiles
Sometimes, the grime that's built up on your bathroom tile grout has become so engrained, that it won't budge. Or perhaps you've noticed that the grout is cracked in places, and it needs a touch up.
If that's the case, then you need to replace the grout. You can't put grout on top of old grout – it will end up looking messy.
You need to start by removing all of the original grout, by using a Stanley knife or a grout rake. Take out at least half the depth of the grout and chip away at the tile edges carefully, to avoid making cracks in them.
Before applying the new grout, prepare the area by wiping down the tiles with a clean, wet cloth. To apply the grout mixture, use a grout spreader or a trowel to work the grout into the joints, spreading it across the surface area of the tiles and working it into the gaps. It will dry within 20-30 minutes, so work on small areas at a time.
Clean off any remaining excess grout with a wet sponge. Finally, use a grout finisher to give a precise and neat appearance.
How to remove hard water stains from tiles
If it's stubborn limescale and hard water that's building up on your tiles, don't think about replacing them just yet.
The key to removing tough stains is the right cleaner.
If you're looking for a tough solution, then this homemade concoction works as well as anything else. Mix half a cup of borax with half a cup of vinegar — the paste can be applied to the problem area before scrubbing down with a sponge.
How to prevent mould from building up in your bathroom tiles
Now your bathroom tiles are free from hard water stains and dirt, it's important to look after them so that the grime doesn't reoccur.
Air the bathroom as much as possible by opening a window when having a shower or bath
If you have an extractor fan, keep it on for 20 minutes after your shower or bath to remove moisture from the air
After you have a shower or bath, use a towel or squeegee to wipe down the tile surfaces
Regularly scrub your grout in your weekly bathroom clean.

How to replace a cracked tile
If you have a cracked bathroom tile, our advice is to remove it and replace it yourself.
If the tiles are up to just a couple of years old, the likelihood is that your supplier will still have some in stock. Our nationwide tile shops will help you to match the correct tile.
Once you have the replacement tile – we'd recommend buying a few, in case you break it or crack more tiles in the future – follow these steps:
Clean the area of any dust or dirt.
Remove the grout – using the method above. Be careful to not damage the surrounding tiles.
Use a chisel or a drill to break up the tile. Angle the tool away from you and work from the centre outwards.
Remove the old tile pieces one by one, while scraping the remaining adhesive underneath with a Stanley knife, to leave a smooth surface.
Check that the new tile fits properly, put adhesive on the back of it and fit it into place. Ensure it is in place by tapping it with a rubber mallet.
Fill the joints with new grout, using the method above.
Alternatively, if you'd had the tiles for a long time and they are no longer in stock, it could be worth thinking about replacing the rest of them too. If the cracked tile is behind the shower, you could get away with choosing contrasting tiles to create a feature wall, rather than replacing the whole room.

How can I make my bathroom more luxurious?
'A freestanding bathtub automatically upgrades your bathroom to give it a hotel feel,' says Big Bathroom Shop's head buyer Susie Hilton. 'If a freestanding tub won't fit or is impractical, build a tub into the space and surround it with it marble or quartz for an equally elegant look.'
Susie also suggests thinking hard about how you dress your windows. 'Add plantation shutters for a boutique-hotel feel, frosted glass for privacy, or long drapes for opulence.'

You can also mix with chrome or black taps, monochromatic patterned tiles, terrazzo or trendy fluted tiles to create visual interest.'
'Tiled floors and walls give a luxurious atmosphere, however, you should avoid trendy patterns and colors which will go out of style and age the space. Instead, aim for classic finishes, stone or marble basin countertops and splashback if your budget allows. Porcelain tiles work best in bathrooms as they are long-lasting, less porous than concrete, and aren't prone to staining.'
